This edition untitled PooL 12.2 is the second edition of PooL in New York this year 2012.
Inspired from the French tradition of Artists Fairs, starting from the famous 1863 Courbet's Salon des Independents, (AKA Salon des Refusés) PooL has been since 2000 (New York Independent Art Fair) then in 2004 (PooL Art Fair) the premiere fair in the US dedicated to unrepresented artists.
PooL 12.2 present a carefully selected group of artists. This time, some artists will present their work directly to the public when most will be represented by a gallery.
The format remains simple and modest with no more than 14 booths located right across the street from the Metropolitan pavilion, home of the prestigious Pulse Art Fair.
PooL 12.2 aims to give exhibitors an opportunity to be a part of this unprecedented attention given to the New York Art World following the mounting of so many shows in May.
